After an illustrious career spanning 28 years in academia, local and national government, global consulting and as a successful business leader leading D&I activity as Head of D&I, Farrah set up Global Diversity Practice (GDP).
Today, GDP’s footprint extends to clients and participants from 160+ countries. Farrah’s clients include many Fortune 500 and FTSE 100/250 companies, who are provided with clear pathways to achieve best in class innovative customized consultancy solutions with measurable outcomes. Farrah aligns her outputs to Organisational Transformation, Leadership Behaviours, Culture Change and Behavioural Economics, combining each with a strategic business focus. Farrah regularly headlines as a sought-after keynote speaker and inspires global executive audiences across a range of sectors from Tech to FMCG in International organisations. She has also appeared in the media to discuss her views and opinions on this ever-evolving crucial business discipline. Farrah continues to influence the future direction of D&I by being part of the elite group of DI expert panellists contributing to GDIB Global D&I Benchmarks.
Highlights in her career include launching Walmart’s global D&I journey, addressing the World Bank and UN and her work on leading efforts to embed D&I at the heart of the 2012 Olympic Games. She leads an impressive team of global D&I consultants, strategists, trainers and learning designers.
Farrah has been recognised for her insights and impact by various institutions. In 2010, Farrah received an award from Walmart for her services to Global Diversity. In 2012 she was the recipient of the ENEI Award for Training Excellence for her ground-breaking training on unconscious bias for Santander leadership teams globally and in the UK. Twice nominated for Asian Women of Achievement for both Professional of the Year and latterly Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2016 Farrah won the Enterprising Woman of the Year award, and in 2017 was recognised for her lifetime of work in D&I winning the Bloomberg Excellence in Diversity Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2020 Farrah was presented with Top Global D&I Leaders Award.
