Kelli McLoud-Schingen, President and Principal Facilitator of KMS Intercultural Consulting and Artistic Director of World Stage Theatre Company. She is a global diversity and inclusion specialist as well as a theatrical director, actor, and producer. She specializes in storytelling, cultural competence, and healing racism. She has facilitated presentations for educational, non-profit, government and corporate institutions in the USA and internationally since 1989 deftly fusing her theatre and social justice training. A certified professional mediator, she holds a BA degree in Communication and a MA in Cross-Cultural Studies. She is Co-Author of the Cultural Detective: African American® and has extensive training and leadership experience in the Intercultural and Diversity fields. Kelli also trained with the Center for the Healing of Racism in Houston, TX. Clients have included The City of Helsinki, Finland, Jyväskylä University, United World College of the Adriatic, The University La Frontera, Coconino County, AZ, Chevron Phillips, Shell Oil, Walt Disney Imagineers, Planned Parenthood, AAA-AZ, St. Francis Hospital, Phillips Theological Seminary, All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, Moravian Church-British Province, San Diego State University, University of Pittsburgh, and the Melton Foundation, to name a few. Kelli has been invited to be Keynote Speaker at the Unitarian Universalist’s Women’s Conference, Faith Community Nurse’s Association, the Michigan Student Financial Aid Association Conference, the National Children’s Association conference, as well as presented countless educational sessions for numerous professional congresses on the topic of Inclusion, Intercultural Competence and the Power of Story to connect across Cultures. Her theatrical training includes undergraduate theatre studies at Aurora University, graduate theatre studies at Roosevelt University and a semester at the Oxford School of Drama. Kelli has performed as an amateur and professional actor in England, Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston and Tulsa. In 2017 Kelli founded the World Stage Theatre Company in Tulsa. This global justice theatre is an extension of her global diversity, equity, and inclusion work to further cross-cultural understanding, empathy and compassion through the arts.
