Margaret Regan is the President and CEO of The FutureWork Institute, a global consulting firm that translates future trends to transform organizations. The Institute is a certified women-owned business that helps clients achieve a MindShift, a HeartShift and a SkillShift in creating a more inclusive, future-focused culture and environment.

As a futurist and member of the World Future Society, and a change management consultant, Margaret brings to her keynote presentations and consulting assignments a perspective on the next 10 years and their implications for workforce change management. Her keynote presentations are visual journeys into the future. Recently she presented 2030 Game Changers at the UN along with testifying on what it will mean to be human and have “personhood” in 2030.

As a global DEI consultant, Margaret has led executive teams in Japan, keynoted future-focused conferences in Europe, Asia and North America, worked in Paris on French-American mergers and global summits, educated executive teams on cross-cultural differences, and conducted women's studies in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia.

As an executive coach, Margaret works with clients going through a change process to coach individual executives on leading the change. Having been the first woman executive in three different companies, she spends much of her time helping executives understand, recognize and address personal, style, leadership and behavioral issues.

Margaret has appeared on NBC-TV's Today Show, CBS This Morning, NBC Nightly News, and CNN, to comment on emerging workforce trends. She has been frequently quoted in Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and the South China Morning Post. She is featured on Close-Up TV as the CEO of "one of the most innovative businesses in the US," in CNN/Money Magazine as the expert on future workplace trends and in Business Week for FWI's creative approach to "my-job my-way", "my-business our way" and "my perks my-way." Recently, she received the Promise of Diversity Innovation Award for these approaches to work and for her ground-breaking work on education in the virtual world.

She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Brooklyn College, CUNY and completed her doctoral work at Fordham University.
